Late-night and 24-hour casinos in Edmonton
Four casinos around Edmonton are open 24 hours, seven days a week. The other four shut at 3 a.m. or 4 a.m., and some of them stay open later on weekends.

Open around the clock
These four stay open all night, seven days a week.
- Starlight, inside West Edmonton Mall: the casino and its slots are open 24 hours.
- River Cree, on Enoch Cree Nation just west of the city: the casino and its slots are open 24 hours.
- PURE Edmonton in the southeast: slots and the poker room are open 24 hours.
- PURE Yellowhead in the northwest: slots and the poker room are open 24 hours.
Open all night doesn't mean every game is running. Live tables at Starlight, River Cree and both PURE casinos stop at 3 a.m. At PURE Edmonton the VLTs keep their own hours, 9 a.m. to 4 a.m. For a dealer after midnight, check table hours before you leave.
Closing at 3 a.m. or 4 a.m.
The other four close overnight, at least on weeknights.

Holiday hours can differ. Check the casino's own site before a holiday night out.

Will you get there before closing?
Tell the tool when you are leaving and which part of town you are starting from. It adds a rough drive time and shows which casinos will still be open when you arrive.
The drive time is an estimate, not a promise. It can't see snow, roadwork or a crowd leaving Rogers Place. Before driving downtown on a big event night, check the city's special-event road closures, which are updated daily.
In winter, allow extra time. Alberta law requires you to drive for conditions, and bridge decks are often slicker than the road around them.
Will it still be open when I get there?
Pick when you leave and where from. Drive times are rough estimates from straight-line distance, so check a map app too.
Getting home after midnight
Plan the ride home before you leave. Transit thins out late, and near some casinos it stops long before the gaming floor does.
- Owl buses: ETS runs five Late Night Owl routes until about 3 a.m., seven days a week. Route 2 links West Edmonton Mall, where Starlight is, with Clareview.
- Century Edmonton: the Owl bus leaves nearby Belvedere about every 30 minutes after midnight. The last ones leave around 2:40 a.m. toward West Edmonton Mall and 3:20 a.m. toward Clareview.
- PURE Edmonton: bus route 504 has no late service. Davies station on the Valley Line is about 1.3 km away in a straight line. Trains there run until about 1:10 to 1:30 a.m. from Monday to Saturday, and about 12:50 a.m. on Sunday.
- River Cree: no ETS bus or train goes there. The casino's free shuttle runs every 30 minutes from West Edmonton Mall. Call the Players Club at 780-930-2562 to check late times.
- Century St. Albert: local St. Albert buses into its business park run on weekdays only, and not late at night.
- Century Mile: ETS Route 747 between Century Park and the airport runs from about 4:10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
After the last train or bus, you need a taxi, a rideshare or your own car. Schedules change, so check times with ETS before a late trip.
Food after midnight
A few casinos keep a kitchen open well past midnight.
- PURE Edmonton: SNAX Pantry & Wok and Center Bar serve until 2 a.m. from Sunday to Wednesday, and until 3 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday.
- PURE Yellowhead: SNAX Pantry & Wok is open every day from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- River Cree: Tap 25 Sports Bar serves food until 1 a.m., and Centre Bar on the main floor stays open until 2 a.m.
